Andrew Mitchell joins TrussPoint as Partner – TrussPoint Equity Partners

(Toronto, Feb 6, 2023) TrussPoint Equity Partners is pleased to announce that Andrew Mitchell has joined the TrussPoint team as Partner.

Andrew joins with a diversified set of experiences spanning operational leadership, private equity investing and transaction advisory – all of which have been centered around Canadian small business. Prior to joining TrussPoint, Andrew served as Chief Financial Officer for a leading North American industrial manufacturing and field service provider. During his tenure, he was an integral part of the leadership team that carefully crafted succession plans for previous family ownership and positioned the company for growth. Andrew was accountable for and led teams across several functional areas before successfully guiding the company through its sale process to new investment partners. Previously, Andrew was Vice President at a lower mid- market private equity firm where he sourced, assessed, executed and actively supported direct investments in family-owned, traditional industry Canadian businesses. He started his career working in investment banking and advisory services.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
